Senior consultant on export readiness for NEXT Ecuador, the EU-funded program executed by the International Trade Centre (ITC, UN/WTO): trained around 250 producers across three provinces.

The engagement

NEXT Ecuador is an EU-financed program executed by the International Trade Centre (ITC, the joint UN and WTO agency) to connect Ecuadorian producers to international value chains. I worked as a senior consultant on export readiness from May to September 2025.

The work

Around 250 small-scale producers trained across nine workshops in three provinces, advisory to four producer associations, and the training materials that aligned their production with real export requirements. I have shipped to Europe myself, so this was not theory passed down. It was the same playbook I used to put nine containers on the water.
