What I do, when, and for how much.
Four engagement shapes. All pricing visible. No day rates (I will explain why below). The first conversation is always free.

It knows the work, the pricing, and how I scope. Describe your program and it points you to the right first move. No calendar, no commitment. The tiers below are just the reference for what that work looks like and what it costs.

After the build · Ongoing
Included with Tier 3 Full Build: the first 90 days of this retainer are bundled into the Build engagement. Retainer auto-continues at $5,800 every 4 weeks after Day 90 unless cancelled with 30 days notice.
The Quarterly Governance Retainer for Conservation Platforms
Your multi-stakeholder platform stays healthy without your senior team running it. Monthly written health checks surface what is trending wrong before it breaks. Quarterly audit-readiness reviews mean reporting cycles land clean. I am on Slack for partner escalations within 24 hours. The platform you built once keeps delivering, year after year.
- Up to 4 hours synchronous time per 4-week cycle: partner meeting facilitation, decision-support calls, escalation handling (~$1,400)
- Asynchronous coverage on Slack/email: 24-hour response on weekdays (~$800)
- Monthly written health check (2-3 pages): platform metrics, partner engagement signals, what is trending wrong (~$1,200)
- Quarterly audit-readiness review: 30-minute call plus written checklist (~$600)
Full scope
- 50% off the standard scoping fee for any new scoping engagement during the retainer period
- Annual platform audit: full review of governance architecture, data infrastructure, partner cadence (~$3,500/year)
$5,800 USD every 4 weeks (not monthly)
6-month minimum commitment, cancel anytime with 30 days notice after the minimum
Billed every 4 weeks, not monthly. That is 13 cycles a year.
Guarantee Cancel anytime with 30 days notice after the 6-month minimum.
Talk through the retainer →
Prefer a paid deep-dive first?$750 USD
By the end of the session you have a clear, written 1-page diagnostic note on one workflow (procurement scanning, M&E reporting, or stakeholder coordination) plus a prioritized short-list of next steps. A focused 90-minute diagnostic session, credited toward any engagement you scope after.
Book the diagnostic session → Once a year I take on a single mission-aligned project at a reduced or deferred fee, in exchange for a public case study. If you are building one, tell me about it.
A note on day rates.
I do not quote day rates. USAID's CST base ceiling is around $698-748 per day; UN's Level B caps at $420; UNDP requires regional bureau director approval above $1,000/day. These ceilings distort every conversation that opens with "what is your day rate."
Fixed-fee scoping makes the price visible up front, makes the scope clear, and removes the timesheet game. The combined deliverable value is what you are paying for, not my hours.
If your procurement specifically requires day rates, say so on the working session and we will figure out how to fit.
