The role

As Executive Director from 2020 to 2021, I ran the foundation’s grant cycle end to end for the Achuar Nation, from proposal to execution.

The work

Over $70,000 secured in international grants for socio-environmental and food-sovereignty projects, plus early-warning satellite work for territorial protection. Working directly for an Indigenous nation, not for an intermediary, is where I learned that governance comes before everything else.
